First discovered these pens in the early days of the company around 10 years ago at the London Design festival. From the second you pick them up they just feel perfect, shape and weight is so well balanced. So pleased to finally own a brass pen with caramel leather case.
As a daily sketcher I keep this with me all the time as my art journal. It has become part of me. It travels well due to the compact size and great leather. The quality of the paper itself is so good. I use it with fountain pens, gel pens and watercolours and it holds up beautifully. I am aware of how much research went into getting that paper quality just right. Since the pages fold flat I can make a sketch across both pages too. I carry a second lined book in there too for my thoughts and notes.
This is my second Ajoto Pen. I was gifted my first one several years ago and it quickly became my go to Pen. They both are so well balanced and smooth writing. I feel that the act of putting pen to paper is intimate and personal. Using a beautiful pen adds joy to it.
Great ink cartridges, smooth, last long and the attention to detail with the branding on the cylinder is a nice touch reflective of the brand.
