As a daily sketcher I keep this with me all the time as my art journal. It has become part of me. It travels well due to the compact size and great leather. The quality of the paper itself is so good. I use it with fountain pens, gel pens and watercolours and it holds up beautifully. I am aware of how much research went into getting that paper quality just right. Since the pages fold flat I can make a sketch across both pages too. I carry a second lined book in there too for my thoughts and notes.
The attention to detail on both the pens, and the journals is a true mark of craftsmanship. Is the perfect pairing for my morning journaling.

I inserted a small lined notebook in the cover. Rides in my Uniform pocket for notes and reminders in clinic. A heirloom product. The Grandkids will fight over who gets it when I'm gone. I’m loving my Ajoto notebook! I backed them on Kickstarter and I could not be more pleased. I love the fact that they took time out to listen to, and implement some of our ideas and feedback. I was previously using the Plotter notebook system and it was cool. Expensive but cool. My main issue was the bar on the back of the notebook (edges were sharp) and the rings. Even though they were small they got in the way of my hand. I don’t have to worry about this with Ajoto. The size is perfect! It is not too big or too small. Previously I would always pick A5 size. I love the lay flat design as well. Since I typically use fountain pens, I went with No2. Bleed through and feathering is pretty nonexistent. Of course this depends on the nib and ink. I ordered the cover yesterday and can’t wait for it to arrive. I am already feeling a sense of brand loyalty. This is a product that I will be sticking with.
