Illustrating fathers day with Jack McConnell at Fortnum & Masons, London
We returned to Fortnum & Mason's on June 8th to present a special Father's day event in partnership with the esteemed illustrator Jack McConnell, whose visual world is characterised by his playful style, use of energetic lines and bold colour.
The event celebrated the endless power and potential of a simple black line drawn with a Pen to say thank you to someone special.
Jack spent an afternoon alongside the AJOTO team to showcase his skills live at Fortnum & Mason. Using the Northern Coal Aluminium Pen Jack created a series of portraits which were complementary to all customers that passed through the department store.
The afternoon was a huge success, and we had the pleasure of meeting a wide range of people from all over the world and listening to stories from their incredible journeys. We want to use this opportunity to thank Fortnum & Mason for inviting us, all the people that came to the event and most importantly Jack for his incredible talent.
