On Saturday the 10th February, Fortnum & Mason, the world famous department store in Piccadilly, London, and AJOTO retailer invited us to join them to celebrate the art of love.
To communicate our vision of sharing the beauty of ink and paper we collaborated with the illustrator and animator Hannah Jacobs. Hannah's exceptional portfolio of work has gained her clients from Vogue to the New York Times, and explores a range of topics from love, identity to technology.
For this unique event we asked Hannah to showcase her skills live at Fortnum’s, using the AJOTO Stainless Steel pen to create a selection of complimentary Valentine's cards. Each card that Hannah was a unique piece of work and combined each of our three inks colours. Alongside the illustrations we presented our collection and shared the story behind the creation of the AJOTO collection.
The afternoon has been an incredible success, and we had the pleasure of meeting a wide range of people who shared their love stories, some of which Hannah captured on the cards as one-off artworks. We also had the unexpected pleasure of catching up with a few existing AJOTO customers and also fans of Hannahs work.
We want to use this opportunity to thank both Fortnum & Mason's and all the people that came to the event and lastly a special thank you to Hannah and her incredible talent!
