AJOTO Collection was exhibited in the Tokyo Craft Room at the Hotel Hamacho and Papier Tigre, Tokyo
On Friday 20th of September, Papier Tigre, one of the most inspiring stationery stores in Tokyo invited us to join them for a special event celebrating British design and creativity.
During the day, our complete AJOTO Collection was exhibited in the Tokyo Craft Room at the Hotel Hamacho. The unique Tokyo Craft Room was the perfect backdrop for the pre-launch of latest Ebonite collection with the guests enjoying a space that combined the elegance of Japanese design with downtown L.A. vibes.
For this special occasion, we were honoured to have the illustrator Chisato Nagano create a collection of limited edition Papier Tigre notebooks using the AJOTO Classic Brass Edition Pen. These books all contained a unique artwork that was exhibited within the space alongside our Pens.
For the evening, Papier Tigre Hosted a party where guest were able to purchase Pens from our new Ebonite collection and learn more about the AJOTO story.
For those of you who not familiar with our new Collection we have worked with one of the worlds best ebonite factories to create a range of lightweight Pens with a story. This limited edition collection combines the timeless design of our original Pen with an innovative yet classic material that is painstakingly produce by hand. The result is a beautiful, unique and colourful collection that is designed to last a lifetime.
During the evening the guests enjoyed a showcase by the highly talented calligrapher Kami Goto . Using the Classic Brass Edition Pen, she created a live a selection of artworks and notebooks with her unique calligraphy style.
